Today Russia has actively developed the domestic automobile industry elaborating various efforts for support and modernization of the industry, integrating new technologies facilitating improvement of efficiency of production and increase of competitiveness of Russian products in the international market.

The Asian-Pacific Region has become a priority direction for export of products of the domestic automobile industry thanks to governmental support. One of the key regional Russian partners is Vietnam. Vietnam is today an example of export supplies of heavy trucks of PJSC KAMAZ who has successfully sold its products to abroad for 35 years already. Russian-Vietnamese relationship are favorable for expansion of interaction in some directions of the trade and investment area including machine engineering.

The largest purchaser of heavy trucks in Vietnam are governmental structures who annually purchase automobiles, predominantly dump trucks and stake trucks. New KAMAZ’s are used for construction of buildings, roads, bridges and in mining industry of Vietnam.

In November 2015 Eximbank of Russia opened, within the framework of the state program for support of high-tech export, a facility in the total amount of USD 5.3 million for implementation of transactions of supply of KAMAZ machines to the industrial market of Vietnam.

The project of PJSC KAMAZ is especially important on the background of decline in demand for products of the automobile industry in the domestic market. Financial support of Eximbank of Russia will enable achievement of strategic targets of PJSC KAMAZ concentrating efforts on promotion of products to external markets.

The program of credit support of high-tech export has been implemented by Eximbank of Russia since August 2015 with support by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Russian Federation. The program allows to increase export opportunities of Russian companies, makes Russian export competitive in foreign markets. ← Back to stories list
